General FAQ
1When is the best time to visit Buccaneer Bay?
June is always a great time to visit, we are usually slower at the beginning of the summer season. If you visit in July or August, weekdays are generally less busy than weekends.
2What is your re-entry policy?
Our guests are welcome to come and go! If you need to leave, please make sure you keep your Splash! wristband on to re-enter.
3What about my valuables? Do you have lockers?
We encourage guests to leave all valuables at home. However, we understand you may need a place to keep purses, wallets, and keys for worry-free fun. As a convenience, we offer locker rentals in standard and large. No key needed; you’ll be provided a passcode. Lockers are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
4Is there shade in the waterpark?
There are some shaded areas located through out the waterpark. Lounge chairs are available, on a first come, first serve basis or you may choose to rent a private lounger or cabana for the day. Guests are not permitted to bring their own shade structures for safety purposes.
5Do you have changing facilities?
Yes, our changing and shower facilities are located near Buccaneer Bay front gate. All restrooms and locker rooms are ADA accessible.
6Do you allow alcohol or smoking?
No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto City property. Splash! is a non-smoking facility; guests must be off City property to smoke.
7Do I have to pay if I'm not getting in the water?
Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the waterpark.
8Can I wear sandals or water shoes?
Yes, you can wear sandals or water shoes in the waterpark. However, you cannot wear them on any slides/attractions. Water shoes are allowed in the lazy river.
9What if I forget something at home?
If you forget something at home, please check in our Swim Store for merchandise along with beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, waterproof phone cases, and water shoes. The Swim Store is located just inside the Splash! lobby.
10What about eye glasses or sun glasses?
Eyeglasses and sun glasses may be worn on some attractions with a head strap only. Guests will be asked to hold their glasses in their hand while going down waterslides.
11Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?
Guests 48” and above must purchase a General ticket.
Guests under 48” must purchase a Junior ticket.
Guests 60 years of age and older can purchase a Junior/Senior ticket.
Children ages 2 and under are free.
12Parking
Parking at Splash! is free of charge. For guests with a valid ADA Parking placard or license plate, there are accessible parking spaces available on both sides of the facility. ADA parking spots are available on a first come, first served basis.
Height Guidelines & Safety FAQ
1Height Guidlines
Guests 48” and above must purchase a General ticket.
Guests under 48” must purchase a Junior ticket.
Guests 60 years of age and older can purchase a Junior/Senior ticket.
Children ages 2 and under are free.
Guests 48" and over can enjoy all waterslides in Buccaneer Bay.
Guests over 42" can enjoy waterslides on "Tower 2", including the 6-lane mat racer and 2 body slides.
2What if someone in my party gets separated?
Should you become separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at a predesignated location. If you need assistance finding your child, please contact Guest Services or any Splash! Crew Member.
3Where do I go for First Aid?
The First Aid room is located outside of Buccaneer Bay, right by the 25-yard swimming pool. For assistance please contact any Splash! Crew Member.
4Is a lifejacket required?
Lifejackets are required for all guests under 48 inches. Lifejackets are available free of charge, as supplies are available. We encourage guests to bring their own Coast Guard approved lifejacket.
Food Policy FAQ
1Can I bring food and beverages into the Aquatics Center?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in Buccaneer Bay unless required due to a patron’s special dietary needs that constitute a disability under disability laws. Sealed bottled water in an open container (no coolers) will be permitted. Baby food will be permitted in non-glass containers only.
2Do you sell food at the Aquatics Center?
Yes! We offer a variety of waterpark style food items from pizza, french fries, and hot dogs, to ice cream, funnel cakes and Dippin' Dots. Due to nationwide distribution shortages food items may vary.
3Can I add food to my Cabana or Party Area Rental?
We do not offer food package add-ons for rentals. Please plan to purchase food at Captain Jack's Grille located inside the Aquatics Center.
4Can we leave the waterpark and come back?
Yes! As long as you keep your wristband on, you can go in and out of the waterpark throughout the day.
5Can I bring alcohol? Do you sell alcohol?
Splash! is an alcohol-free facility. No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto City property, including the parking lot.
Party Area Rental FAQ
1What is provided in a Party Area Rental?
(1) 10x20 shaded area, picnic tables for 15-20 people, table covers.
2How do I check-in for my Party Area?
If you have already purchased your admission and your rental is paid for, you can check-in at the North Gate. If you have not purchased admission or you need to pay your rental fee please check-in at the front lobby.
3Can I get extra tables and chairs?
We cannot add extra tables and chairs to a rental. We suggest that you rent multiple Party Areas to accommodate your guests.
4Is admission included in my Party Area Rental?
Admission is included in your rental for 15 people. The 15 admissions included in your Party Area are not refundable due to guest no-shows. You must purchase admission separately for any additional people over the 15 included in your rental.
5Can I bring a cake or cupcakes?
Yes! You can bring a single tier cake or cupcakes for your party. Ice cream and ice cream cakes are not allowed. Splash! staff will not store any guest items including cakes. Candles and sharp knives are not allowed, please bring a plastic knife or cake cutter. Splash! will not provide plates or utensils for birthday parties, please bring your own party supplies.
6Can I bring food or beverages?
No outside food is allowed. Sealed bottled water will be permitted (no coolers allowed, we suggest bringing a plastic tote with rope handles). Baby food will be permitted in non-glass containers only.
7Can I add food to my Cabana or Party Area Rental?
We do not offer food package add-ons for rentals. Please plan to purchase food at Captain Jack's Grille located inside the Aquatics Center.
8Can I decorate my Party Area?
Yes! You may bring balloons, a banner no longer than 10ft wide, and table covers only. Balloon walls and arches will not be allowed. We ask that you use tape that does not leave residue, duct tape is not allowed. All decorations must be taken down and removed by the guest at the end of scheduled rental time.
9Can I bring goodie bags or treats?
Goodie bags and/or treat bags are not allowed in Buccaneer Bay.
10Can I bring gifts?
Yes! However, we do not allowed wrapped gifts, all gifts must be unwrapped or in a gift bag and will be searched at bag check.
Cabana / Lounger Rental FAQ
1What is included in my cabana?
(1) 10x10 shaded area, 6 chairs, 1 side table.
2What is included in my lounger?
(1) shade structure (an umbrella for chaise loungers or a dome for loungers), and (2) lounge chairs.
3How do I check in for my cabana or lounger?
